We exist to provide superior customer service and high quality products to our customers. Our job is to insure our clients’ present and protect their future.
Established in 1930 by Norman Saylor, Jr. father of current owners, Kurt M. and Kent P. Saylor and grandfather of Amy Mitchell and Matt Saylor, Saylor Insurance Service, Inc. is the oldest locally owned agency in Sabetha, Kansas.
Since that time, Saylor Insurance has been servicing the insurance needs of our customers in the surrounding communities of Sabetha, Bern, Seneca, Fairview, Morrill, and Hiawatha, including the counties of Nemaha, Brown, Jackson, Richardson, and Pawnee, and throughout the rest of Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. As a team, we take great pride in the friendships we build with our customers, and we treat our customers the same way we would like to be treated – with honesty, integrity, and respect.
Saylor Insurance Service, Inc. is located at 21 Main Street, inside the Morrill & Janes Bank building, in Sabetha, Kansas. Minton Insurance Agency was purchased by Saylor Insurance on January 1st, 1993. On January 1st, 2000, Saylor Insurance announced the acquisition of Sulco, Inc. in Sabetha, KS., and on April 4th, 2005, also announced the acquisition of the First State Insurance Agency in Goff, KS. Saylor Insurance is a member of the Sabetha, Seneca and Morrill Chambers of Commerce. We are dedicated to looking for ways to save you money while getting you the best insurance products and services available today to protect you, your family, and your business.
Since 1980 the Heiman Family has maintained a long-standing reputation for providing excellent service to its customers in Seneca, Baileyville, St Benedict, Bern, Oneida, Nemaha County, Richardson County and elsewhere. Beginning 2020 the Heiman Family and the Saylor Family decided to combine their businesses to form a strong partnership to maintain services for their customers. Because both the Saylor and the Heiman families believe in the same philosophy of providing excellent customer service to their customers, this change was a natural fit for both. This will allow Heiman Crop and Insurance Service to operate as an independent insurance agency representing multiple insurance companies. In addition to crop insurance, all types of insurance including home, auto, farm, commercial, Medicare Supplement and life products will now be available. Customers will see some of the same faces of Lora, Mary Beth and others and a few new faces like Mindy in the same Seneca office located at 211 North St. (US Highway 36)
